As of April 2024, the AMP Saver is the only normal savings account available. AMP also offer the SuperEdge Saver, but this is exclusively for SMSF customers.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the AMP Saver, customers will need to:

Be over 18 years old
To be an Australian resident
To supply an email address and a mobile number
To provide one of form of ID (driver's license, passport or Medicare card

Rates and fees

The AMP Saver has a two tiered interest rate. There is the standard variable rate, which is a base return that all customers will receive. On top of this is the bonus rate, which is earned if you deposit $1,000 in a given month. The bonus rate is added on to the standard rate and applies on balances up to $250,000. The standard rate is generally much lower, with the majority of the returns coming from the bonus rate.
